You're On Fire Pt 10

Tim Hoyt comes splashing in from the rain, spraying water like a dog to the complaints of the women until they quiet when his mother, Debbie, enters behind him trying to smile. They move out of the way to give her a chair and a towel and give her coffee, now that she and Tim are back in Fire Town and one of you again. In a week it will be like they never left, though Ray is sleeping on the couch. Your father is in the living room with the firemen, staring at Debbie Hoyt like he wants her to explode, though enough chocolate cake eventually fixes that.
