As previously mentioned, World Cup Hockey fever has hit The Hague and, with this in mind, we ventured along on Tuesday. I managed to see one match with Grace (Germany vs Korea, with the Germans winning 6-1, much to the disappointment of the Dutch!) before we all agreed that she probably wouldn't manage to sit through another!

As always, at these events, there is lots of clobber you can spend your money on and indeed that is what we did. Grace is holding 'Stocky', the event mascot, Amber has a suitably orange hockey hoody and Robyn has an official event t-shirt. (Richard and I even joined in with getting geared up, buying attractive 'his 'n hers' official event hoodies!!). You will see too, in the photo, that Grace has her face painted with the Dutch flag (in the shape of a butterfly). I couldn't persuade her to have a Scottish saltire or even the Union Jack - she was set on the Dutch version.
