Lavender and Bee

A topsy turvy day. We had planned to take advantage of the good weather forecast, get out early, walk up to Levers Water near Coniston, take some photographs and then, depending on how we were feeling, possibly carry on to Coniston Old Man.

None of that happened. Somehow we got distracted onto other things including driving by a house which had come onto the market. We are thinking about down-sizing but really need want the same size house again for all Santana's stuff! Then there is location, location, location to consider. The house was down a very narrow track which could be difficult, I imagine, in bad weather.

Good day at home in the end, made a carrot cake, did emails, and ironing. I popped out into the garden later on to get this and it was still lovely and warm.
