Diaspora

A picture of more than 50 years ago ~ then just newly weds and living in Uganda where they were born and bred looking ahead to their married life with children and a future together in Uganda, their native country.
But life and history took another cause....
in the early 1970-ies when general Idi Amin's shouted out loud that non-blacks must leave his country or he'll have them hunted down ~ my friends parents had to fly away with their young children from their native land. They arrived in Europe and finally in Holland; some of their relatives live in England, some in Canada and some in Holland ~ the diaspora, all so well known to all refugees.
