Rainbow rails

Nathaniel reluctantly leaving playgroup this morning. We were a bit late getting there as Bay managed to sleep in his cot again this morning after restless night (cold, growth spurt, heat, who knows!).
Had fun doing crafts and playing outside in their garden. Nice group of people there too. Same can't be said of the other playgroup we went to in the afternoon. I spent more time hovering near Nathaniel as an older boy (even older than the 5yr age limit!) was shouting "that's mine" then screaming at and pushing kids around and pulling Nate's fingers off of the bikes. What a delightful child! Had lots of fun explaining to him about ownership and how he cannot touch my boy when out of his (nonchalant) mothers earshot. He seemed to take well to guidelines though and I even managed to be nice and showed him how to tie his shoelaces (was very tempting to tie them together to pay him back for hitting and grabbing the other kids but I resisted!)
Stopped off at the swings on the way home...parks are now annoyingly busy as the weathers better. Where were all these people when it was cold and rainy in January?!
