Scotland in summer!

Yup - this is Scotland in summer, however - it's indoors!
Went to Exscape at Braehead today for a look. This picture is of the indoor ski slope which has real snow (and real teeth chattering coldness to go with it!) These kids were sledging on the nursery slope. If you don't fancy the cold then you can also do rock climbing, play football or play on the artificial beach, all indoors. Not sure what I thought of it all.
Needless to say it feels very artificial (because it is) and it left me feeling a wee bit sad. Granted you can't ski on snow in Scotland at this time of year, but seeing kids play on an indoor beach,complete with red neon palm tree just seems very wrong when the sun is blazing and the real beach isn't too far away.
Mind you - maybe I'm a hypocrite, after all I'm indoors watching them all!
