This is the time of year that the full moon rises while it is still light.
Even though the sun is directly opposite the moon there is still light enough to take a photo.

As I waited for the moon to rise above the horizon I almost missed it as once it appears it seems to move quite quickly. It is as if you can see it moving particularly as it rises up from beneath the horizon
