Late night at the Benn

Tonight we celebrated advancing years with a bunch of friends in a way which made me feel years younger.

It has been ages since Iain and I have been out in an evening together with friends and it was great to meet up with some friends, eat some lovely tandoori food and have a good laugh.

On the way home I noticed the light of the sky behind the Mither Tap of Bennachie and pulled over in a layby to take some photos. As we drove through Kemnay I subtly tried to convince my lovely husband that he might like to climb to the top of the Place of Origin sculpture, but he declined, it being ten to midnight after all. Just the thought of the late night adventure made me happy though.
