Evening gardening

Some of the shrubs on the right hand side of the garden have got out of control. We spent some time chopping them down this evening. There isn't much evidence from this (poor) photo, but from the house we can easily see who is visiting the bird table now. Houblon is visiting the beer/garden shed.

I tried out my pruning saw - a little early, I know. It is fantastic.
