Everything is ready

Personally I have no interest in football or in watching the World Cup, but I have a vague knowledge that many people do seem to watch football. The local bar is ready with a television set up on the terrace.

I asked what happens to the electronics when there is a thunderstorm, I was told they would have to move everything inside. Sure enough during the course of the evening the thunderstorm arrived which may have spoilt everybody's viewing of the opening match.

Saturday the bar is staying open very late for the Italy-England match. It is unfortunate there is a heavy thunderstorm forecast for Saturday evening. Still they tend to be very localised so maybe the storm will avoid the bar.
