Knitting zombie...

I have no interest in football, so....the next few weeks are going to bore me silly. I love the passion that the game inspires but it leaves me cold. Le Tour, on the other hand, gets my blood hot! I'm off with my buddies soon to pay 'homage' to the French mountains by cycling across the Massif Central. We will arrive home again in time for Le Tour to cut its way through my home town.....good gracious but I am excited!

My little friend 'Manda is a keen knitter and she is at present part of a gorilla knitting group who are making little 'Tour' jerseys.....hundreds of them in fact! They are being sown onto garlands that will hang across the streets of Cambridge. I think she has had enough of it now...she worked this morning as we sat and chatted without even looking at the purple (her fave colour) top.

When I had a new wheel recently the shop donated the spare parts from the old one to a group who are making 'Velo' sculptures out of old bikes....awesome stuff!

I need some new bike stuff so it could be a little shopping trip this weekend...hoorah!
