BORIS...

.... we were down visiting Alice this arvo and whilst having fun in the yard, I noticed this pair of ducks having a good ole time in the creek which runs through the park at the back of our daughters place.

Although having blipped Boris before, I just liked this shot of him and asked Alice to choose? Of course she picked Boris.

Enjoy and probably no need to look in large unless you whish to check the reflection in his eye!!!

Thank you all so much for your input to the ID of my little birdie yesterday still waiting to finally clarify but it may in fact be another variety of the honey eater?

UPDATE: on the the birdie ID from yesterday, both OzGeoff and Jen, alias NewcastleDownunder report:

It’s a closely related honeyeater, the white-plumed. You can see the plume is white rather than yellow and the body is a bit yellower than for a fuscous.
