Colourful plant

I am not sure what this plant is. It has colourful leaves all year.

My exercise today was trying to improve the focus and after trying all sorts of things I believe the more you learn the more you realise what you don't know.

Went shopping for a present for Leo who turns three tomorrow. It was funny listening to three mothers in the toy aisle. One didn't want a noisy toy for her child, one wanted a unicorn without the Barbie that it was packaged with, and the third wanted a blue tractor. I ended up getting books for Leo! He was so distraught that he couldn't have everything in the shop he declared he was not going to have a birthday. Ha ha, so funny.

Another first for me today, I decided to cook scones. They were not the best I have eaten but realised I had never made scones before. I am not a natural in the kitchen. I love scones so like my photography I will just have to practice ( but I am not challenging myself to making them every day for a year). Tomorrow I might try to cook date scones and take them to the birthday party ....the one we aren't going to have!
