the noise!

When they were tiny it was a constant chatter of us asking them 'nicely' to sit on their chair, pick their food off from the table and to stop burping! We thought it was a stage...when they were older we would have family meals where we would sit and chat and ponder the world around us, all interacting and respecting each others views and opinions. Yeah right!

It might start off that way "what do you think about...?" and then it spirals downwards into a mass of noise as each one seems to outdo each other in saying something that they as teenagers find hilarious and us as adults are left confused.

Family meals - from a parental sanity perspective they are definitely overrated me thinks!
