Under Siege

Was intending to blip some vibrant blue Sage flowers but got distracted by the midges, which are fierce this evening. Retreated indoors and wondered if it was possible to capture them through the back door window. (best viewed large)

It is very still, overcast and damp today - their favourite conditions. I hope tomorrow will be sunny and breezy as R is doing her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze expedition, and will be walking and camping over the weekend. Fingers crossed!
