Rambling in the sun

Our Ramblers' walk on Wednesday took us down the Clyde Valley. The first part of the walk was along a stretch of the Clyde Walkway south from Crossford, through Kirkfieldbank and then we returned via a loop along various paths back to our start-point at Crossford.

It was a beautiful summer's day - sunny and warm, but not too hot. Every so often a wee cooling breeze would blow providing just the right amount of refreshment. It was the kind of day that makes walking a pleasure. We had a good turn-out too; about 27 of us, which made for good company along the way.
