Waldorf Astoria #2

Following on from this last year... our "Afternoon Tea" group got together - very impromptu I might add - to check out the newly opened Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah! This is actually my birthday treat but we've not been able to do this until now.

Well, what can I say? The location of the hotel is super - on the Palm. It doesn't appear as grand as the RAK property but the service was definitely better. The tea however, was on a smaller scale! Nothing was left over despite ordering two!

Prior to this, we had had a lovely church service, lunch, watched Tangled and generally had a very relaxed afternoon. Got home for a light dinner and catching up here. Not a bad Friday the 13th at all! :)

Large really is good.
