Callum looking angelic

A flying visit to Callum and Kerri today, really lovely to see them. He's putting on weight (he's now up to about 2lb 4oz, which is a whole ounce more than his birth weight), digesting his milk well, and only occasionally messing with the medical staff and his parents - as I said last time, he has a reputation to maintain! He's got company in the NICU too, wee twin girls who arrived this morning. Seems strange to have so many people in there. There are five incubators and only 1 other has been occupied while I've been there, and that on 1 visit only, and now there are not just the babies and their beeping equipment, but their family and more nursing staff given the higher occupancy. Callum seemed to be doing a good job of sleeping through it all though. Just as well, when he gets home he'll have sheep and deer outside his window to keep him awake, so the quicker he learns to sleep through distractions, the better! Ah, island life...
