Yes it's Friday

It's been a bright sunny day and I've been stuck in the office but at every available moment I've got out to enjoy the fine weather. I went for a walk at lunchtime and as soon as I got home I put on the Lycra and went for a lovely two hour mountain bike ride. I'm now well and truly ready for the weekend and for the Shropshire Highland challenge on Sunday.

Today's blip is a fine specimen of a Light Emerald moth which was basking in the sun on one of the company trucks, I quite like how it's almost camouflaged on the shiny metallic paint.

I do have a bit of a fear of moths and butterflies, I think it stems from when I was on a camping/cycling holiday in France and I put on a pair of jeans and put my hand in one of the pockets and thought eew what's that when I pulled a huge moth out.
