Laburnum tree

Today I went to see my Mum and Brother who live in a little village just outside Chester. I love walking around the garden because it's Mums pride and joy although with a replacement hip and knee and aged 84 she just isn't able to keep it weed free these days. A couple of years ago there was a big problem with the laburnum tree and she thought she was going to lose it, however after some advice and love from a tree surgeon it has recovered. This is its scar complete with pretty little rose and a slug trail. Lots of very happy memories of playing in the garden as a child more years ago than I care to remember. :)
