Went to the docs today and apparently I have welly rash! That's what happens when you wear boots on bare legs in snowy weather! Apparently it's been aggrivated by an allergic reaction of some kind. Got a nice tube of steroid and antibiotic cream so hopefully that should clear it up. A busy day at work so a quiet evening I'd in order.
