66 Vette

This little honey was showing off at the local hotrod show. It is a daily driver (well the owners have 4 other cars between them), and is the fave of the lady in the family. A few months ago they had it up for sale for $58,000. They had so many people interested they decided to rethink the value asked and then decided to keep it. After all, as I told them, if you don't need the money, it's a very special machine to have around.

With this kind of collectible automobile, most folks want the serial numbers to match the body/chassis, the transmission, and the motor. The motor is the same engine it came with, but a replacement due to some kind of failure. The tranny was replaced some time ago as well, but it's the same kind as the original manufacturing. This means that two of the most important components don't match the chassis serial number. This will eliminate it from some strict competitions, but this one has still won a few trophies. I love the color and the sound of the 327 chevy engine is the sweetest.

Enjoy!
