Ideal Home - NOT!

I live in a home which is over 70 years old. The house has been in my family for well over 45 years and holds many memories. The old place needs a little TLC and a bit of a "make-over"! Although I have embarked of numerous home improvements over the years and indeed a few house builds; this project seems a little more daunting - perhaps it has something to do with me having become a bit of an "old fart"!

Anyway, re-plastering, ceilings and walls; a couple of new power points; new wood floors; one of those "new" hole in the wall gas fires; a complete "paint job" and a few new carpets and we'll be set for another 70 years? Well maybe? Watch this space!

Joe, my little Cairn Terrier, has only lived here for six months but seems intrigued by all the new smells of stripped wall paper, newly exposed floor boards and the general mayhem of his surrounding?
