The journey

Last night had a good night out for dinner at Las Iguinas with my colleagues.

Today, took a days holiday to have a rest after working the past 11 days in a row. Visited my dad and grandpa to wish them a happy Father's Day as I am away this weekend. Collected the husband after work and now driving to Ambleside in the Lake District, as he is doing The Great North Swim on Sunday (swimming 2 miles in Lake Windermere).

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera for the trip! Such a shame I won't have it for the lovely scenery at the Lakes. It's a beautiful view going over the hills in the car as the sun is setting. Can't capture it with my phone camera. Here's a blip of the road ahead with the pink skies above. Red skies at night shepherds delight....
