More properly St. Paul's and St. George's Episcopal Church, this was the venue for Synod this year. I've only been here once before, over 40 years ago, when I sang with the New Consort of Voices in a Festival Fringe recital.

I remember a soaring building with a soaring acoustic. I know that the changes within the church are closely linked to both the numbers who worship here and the style of worship, but I felt a sadness that it had to involve such destruction both visual and auditory.
