Happiness

This is an intricately carved stamp my friend Helen brought back from China several years ago, which says "happiness" in Mandarin. I often stamp the back of envelopes with it for birthday cards etc.

I am a happy person. At least, I'm learning to be. I'm fed up of grumpiness and negativity and seek instead to have joy in all circumstances, even if they're not great. Even if I'm alone, tired, hurt, under pressure or whatever. Life's just that bit more bright and colourful when you go at it with optimism.
