Went to the opening evening of Jamaica Street Art studios tonight. There were a few things of interest, and just as many not.... But it's always interesting to have a look

Went on from there to the Cherry Duck bistro on the WelshBack. I'd like to recommend it, and I think the food was good, but it was so overshadowed by the worst ever service and experience that I just can't. Our table was booked for 9, fine, that we had. But forty minutes later and we had nothing to even drink as we perused the menu, despite having requested even water to start with.

We finally were served food an hour and a half after we sat down. Yes, they were short-staffed, but there's ways of managing that. And the neighbouring table were on their coffee before we'd even been served our main. Sorry, but whatever discount you give us, however nice the food may in fact be, I won't be coming back.
