Mary's Rose

This is Mary's fading white rose from May 30th, her birthday, which Pete found on the sidewalk that day. Mary is Pete's sister who passed a couple of years ago.

As you can see, I'm back experimenting again. I used the same motion blur technique on this dried rose in its clear glass vase. Then I inverted the image and brought out the colors a bit more. That's it!

For the last time this academic school year, I'm sitting on a stack of finals to correct, so off I go for the rest of the evening and into tomorrow night...ARRGHHH...wish me luck...:)
