Dean Castle Country Park

Our bid to have as many days out as possible continued with a trip down to the seaside at Ayr for a picnic with the bought-2-years-ago-and-never-used picnic set. The rain started after being down there for an hour so we headed back up the A77.
Had our picnic instead at Dean Castle Country Park, just on the north edge of Kilmarnock. Nice enough wee park and a dinky castle. The burn was very peaty, and a nice contrast with the surrounding greenery.
