Flutterby visitor

This rather battered Small Tortoiseshell has been fluttering into my garden, and then speeding off over the trees before I can take its photo.

This morning, it did the same and then returned, spending a few minutes on the plants, giving me a chance to capture an image. I had the macro lens on the camera so it wasn't so easy - but I knew that the little teaser would have vanished if I'd gone inside to change.
