Palmy days!

Today was a good one. Humid to begin with, but by the time I got going after a lazy breakfast it was sunny and warm, hot even, for this part of the world! Tried to catch up with work in my own garden, planting out my runner beans - rather late, but better late than never. I've either been away a lot at weekends, or it's been wet. Usually both!

Anyway, the flowers on my Chinese Trachycarpus fortunei were looking good, so I thought I'd Blip them. This palm was given to me around 1990 in a 5" pot - now the trunk is about 10ft tall and though it flowers regularly it never produces seed, which is a pity.
