Glasgow 2014

Off to Glasgow today to meet up with two old friends for lunch. M, T and I worked together about fourteen years ago and have been friends ever since. We all still work for the same organisation, but they are in Glasgow and I am in Edinburgh. I see them occasionally, but the three of us very rarely get together. It was so nice to catch up over a lovely lunch. I even managed a quick scoot around the shops before lunch and bought a birthday present for another friend. I almost bought a bag, shoes and a dress – but resisted!

On the way home my bus had to stop for the Queen’s Baton Relay in Edinburgh – which was very timely given today’s blip.
