Jackson Pollock style

Asked to make mud painting physicist and astronomer Peter Jackson insisted he couldn’t paint.

Then he had an idea.
"I'll do a Jackson Pollock!”
He took a handful of mud and slung it on to the paper.


Chuffed with the result he signed it with his hand.

Fortunately we have had a really sunny day with no wind, ideal for mud painting.

One an inter-active installation this year is one where I ask folk to draw in mud on a stone and leave it in a circle o stones. They can either take one away with them or just add their own.
