Field Rose
Rosa arvensis. Hurrah - the 50th type of plant that I have photographed growing along my Anglesey lane since I started this journal in the spring!!!
And it has provided some surprises. I had assumed that all of the wild roses were Dog Roses. However, when I checked in the book I discovered that there are other rose species... Only one has a style that is longer than the stamens and here it is - a Field Rose.
I love the bumblebee. It had collected so much pollen on its back legs it was struggling to fly.
