Saying Good-bye

This is new puppy day. The day we bring the new puppy home. I know the wife is all excited about the new puppy, and the breeder does this kind of thing regularly, but to me it's kind of sad to think this baby is saying good-bye to her momma, auntie, and big brother to go off and live with strangers. This was the farewell I witnessed.

10 seconds later, a rabbit ran by me -- and the dogs were off, leaving the puppy behind. I still gotta think they're going to miss her, and she, they.

Just an FYI, we did bring a towel home for the new puppy to sleep with that had been rubbed and rubbed on her momma.

I don't know what the momma got.
