By the speedway..

There is a fast straight road (A374) between Wacker Quay and Sheviock where traffic speeds along at 60mph, largely unaware that through the trees on the right it is only a few yards to a tranquil,,wood-fringed, tidal creek. Today I stopped and explored.

I have also explored the creek by kayak in the past and its eery to hear the roar of speeding vehicles that you can't see from the water. Unfortunately today I did find rubbish in several spots that had been dumped from the road.
