Dad's Railway

Back home after a week in Wales and straight back to the train station for a last few photos to finish off my latest assignment. I actually wrote the assignment up while we were away but today decided to nip back to Pickering station this afternoon to see if I could get a few more shots to choose from. And I'm glad I did, as I spotted this very authentic 1940s-looking chap using the old station telephone to speak to someone down the other end of the platform. It looked very 'Dad's Army' to me :-)
