What a chase!

Some excitement today! A man was running around Govanhill with a large sword today and he got spotted and chased by two mounted police officers, they galloped right past my flat and caught him a few doors up, I honestly don't understand how people junk they can outrun horses! But it was absolutely amazing watching them go, they are so powerful. The guy was picked up by a van and the lovely horses continued their beat looking very proud of themselves.

Seeing as the area I live in is renown for its trouble and crime, especially recently with all the rapes on glasgow. It was fantastic to see a police presence and someone getting taken down for once.
