Falling to bits

Legs and elbow still really sore from the other night, and then I went to the opticians this morning for an eye test and replacement glasses and they discovered I have age relayed mascular degeneration. At least she said it was unusually early!! Great....that's a nice way to start a weekend! Will have to go to eye hospital soon, but apparently there's little that can be done except hope it doesn't progress too fast. Obviously home (via the Mound just as they fired 21 gun salute for queen's birthday and welcome to commonwealth games baton arriving in city) to do some web searching. Apparently diet can help-I'll be eating a lot of kale from here on in!
Spent the rest of the day cleaning and sorting the flat-it's been too long since I did any of it!!
