One Point Perspective
After teaching One Point Perspective for three weeks, I find one today. Started off heading for the Kelpies, only to find that half of Scotland were there too. It beggar's belief that they build this massive pair of sculptures, then provide parking for 175 cars. It's as if Central Region are saying "We've made these gigantic horse head statues, but don't bother coming to see them" Scotland. We shoot ourselves in the foot every time. And they actually think we can become a separate nation? If so, we have to change our small town thinking.
Anyway, Kelpies are a washout, so over the Kincardine bridge and thanks to two gentlemen I found my way onto the the walkway beside the Forth. Managed to get a few shots around and about the bridge, then walked upriver to investigate this concrete pier thing that according to the sign belonged to SSEB and was securely locked up. Still got a shot through the very rusty gate. It was nice to use the 10-20 Sigma again.
Back home for a wee glass of wine in the garden. Kelpies earmarked for a visit during the hols.
