I was up here with a new circuit class - part of the cunning plan to keep improving the running times - although two of these classes, plus a hard-work paddleboard outing this week, meant I did the Aptos Women's race 15 secs per mile SLOWER than I did it last year. Must learn to build up steadily....

So the picture was a quick snap in a swift breather from lying down on the filled-in swimming pool ("watch out for ants..") doing crunches. It looked like a romantic sort of ruin at the time.

It feels much more chilling to me now.
