GENTIANA ACAULIS:

When I lived on the farm, this was my favourite flowers. I had it growing everywhere, long borders of it, & I joked with the family, don't write my name on my tombstone, just put "SHE GREW GENTIANS".

But in gardening we go through different phases & although I still love this magnificent blue gentian, I have moved on.

My grateful thanks to my special blipper friends who cartwheeled me on to Spotlight yesterday. That was a special thrill & so unexpected.
