Close, but no cigar

Disappointed in the result but strangely encouraged by the performance of England's young guns. Maybe we do have a future.
It's been a cracking day of football with some wonderful matches to watch. The Pacific time zone is perfect for the weekends, they can all be watched during sensible hours.
A match at breakfast, one each at lunch and dinner, and for dessert, guess what? Another one. During the week is a totally different matter though.
A rather tasty steak and Guinness pie was the perfect ending.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
