Ducks can fly!!

Today is the first day that England play in the World Cup. Neither Mr H or I are avid followers but I had put this bunting up in our conservatory for Miss M birthday celebrations.
It has seemed very quiet in the house today no dog or daughters. I pottered around, made a cake for diamond friends celebration on Monday. Wandered into town and met Miss Molly and her mum for coffee. Mr H and I made a fizzy summer fruit jelly to go with the lemon Meringue ice cream we made yesterday. We are taking it to Mr Smiths tonight for a meal with friends.
