Mungogerrie and Rumpleteazer

Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer were a notorious couple of cats
As knockabout clowns, quick change comedians
Tight-rope walkers and acrobats
They had an extensive reputation
Made their home in Victoria Grove
That was merely their center of operation
For they were incurable given to rove

If the area window was found ajar
And the basement looked like a field of war
If a tile or two came loose on the roof
Which presently ceased to be waterproof
If the drawers were pulled out from bedroom chests
And you couldn't find one of your winter vests
Or after supper one of the girls
Suddenly missed her Woolworth pearls

Then the family would say, "It's that horrible cat!
It was Mungojerrie or Rumpleteazer!"
And most of the time they left it at that

India is in her dance school show next week. This is her in costume for the ballet dance Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer from Cats the musical, she is completely in love with this stripy pancake tutu complete with furry tail and ears!

I went to work filled with dread as Mr.W was taking India, Heidi and Lydia to the full dress rehearsal for the dance show and had 6 different on stage times for them plus hair and makeup and no phone to liaise with me! The theatre is next to work so I hurried round at 12.30 and was plunged into the dark hot theatre full of children in all manner of costumes. Mark and Heidi headed home and I waited with India for her last rehearsal.

Mark and the girls collected Troy and took him to Angela's with them, I escaped to the gym, then went to Ang's afterwards. Genvieve and her lovely family were visiting from Germany, Lucy and Joss popped in and we had a great BBQ . Ang had been online and ordered more Pousse Rapiere, an orange Armagnac that transforms Prosecco to rocket fuel!! Great evening.
