Lettuce
Day 3 of shooting the garden. Still having computer issues, waiting on some new RAM but who knows if that will help ...
Another good prospect today at work, another proposal to write, but all good. Going to be a great year I think.
I'm still battling to get a prospect that I have been pursing for months. We're basically there, except for one issue that neither of us looks like we'll compromise on. Oh well, you have to be philosophical and a colleague sent me an article reminding me of "Why You Should Fire (Some of) Your Customers", or in this case not take them on ...
1. You don't have the time or resources to create Ultimate Customer Experiences for everybody
2. Ever notice that bad customers complain more and take up more time than great ones?
3. Do you have customers who create bad impressions about you and your organization simply because you are doing business with them?
4. Are you doing business with someone who casts a negative light on your organization?
They are good points which I have had much experience in. This prospect has some warning bells, points 1 and 2 will probably apply. But, I'm still interested regardless, if we can agree on the sticky point.
But if we can't, then that's OK too ;-)
