A Lack of Light

This evening I went for another dusk walk, this time to the music of Nick Mulvey. It was another nice evening, and I once again mostly had the path to myself. It's a funny thing, due to the light pollution of the inner city, once the sun sets there's still this low level of light hanging around. This causes the low hanging clouds to be partly lit up allowing me the photo you can see above.

It's not my favourite photo but there is something I like about it. It may be the lack of definition to it. Usually it's all about making sure your image is in focus, but for this one it was all about the texture of the photo, with it successfully capturing the feel of the night as I walked home.

Either way an enjoyable end to an excellent weekend.
