Football tournament

The eldest was in a football tournament on Saturday and they made it to the final in the U10s competition. The final score was 0-0 so it went to a tense penalty shootout. This is the eldest taking his penalty to make it 6-6. I was very proud and slightly nervous as he stepped up but he kept his cool and sent the keeper the wrong way and chipped the ball into the top right corner. Cool, calm and collected! Sadly they lost 10-9 on penalties and came runners up. There were a few emotional tears from all the team but they played excellent football and should be very proud of themselves.
