Andrea's Birthday Dinner.....

So it was Andrea's birthday today, she had the day off.....I didn't ....boo hoo..

So she had a nice day to herself, went into town & met a friend for lunch & a wander round the shops......I went to work boo hoo...

We headed over to Newtown for dinner at Izote.....a fantastic Mexican restaurant run by a nice mexican couple....he works in the kitchen & she is at front of house......Andrea had Chicken Mole, a chocolate/chilli dish & I had Chilli Verde.....Cubes of pork in a verde sauce with home made tortillas& the best refried/mashed beans you have ever tasted......(if anyone is reading this and its not dinner time...apologies !!!)

Anyways the weather is pretty miserable tonight, storm sitting over the top of Sydney right now....so we have headed home....it is a school night after all!!!


On a side note Newtown never fails to surprise us.....had I not posted a picture of Andrea enjoying her meal.....I would have posted a picture of this guy taking his goats for a walk........ where does he even keep them ???? He had leads for them & they had collars on.......ah Newtown
