Hot Statues

I was at Waddesdon Manor this morning for several reasons:
1) Hubby doing Fathers' Day Wine tasting session
2) needed a blip
3) further recce for forthcoming school play to be performed there
Reason no. 2 has by far consumed the most time!

In an attempt to also fit with the Movie Challenge, 'Some Like it Hot', I snapped this delightful couple and put them in front of the (back of) mansion - I'm sure she originally had blonde hair and looked like Marilyn Monroe!

Now off to BBQ at no. 2 daughter when (theoretically) the 'men' are going to 'organise' their camping trip to Silverstone Grand Prix which is in a few weeks time. Then we all head straight off for Spain BUT the Passport Office currently has two of our passports which needed renewing. I am optimistic for getting them back in time as they were sent off a couple of weeks ago before all these issues of 'backlog' came into the press!!!
